Ok AMCN has started to do the mods to thier busa so far they fitted a BMC race filter at a cost of $169 from mick hone. The air flow improvemen is 29% witch gave a 1.6ps
improvement and better throttle response. They have also fitted a dynojet power commander for $595 with a bit tweaking they got an extra 2.1 ps.also they have fitted ADR
approved braided brake lines for $225.Perhaps Peter could explain a bit better than me what all this stuff does and if its worth spending the money on as im only getting this out of AMCN.

Well air filter is rather self explanatory simply allows more air flow as in less restriction to air intake.
Power commander is simply a unit that plugs on to bike and allows preset maps to be loaded via a pc and also a dial type mixture adjustment. How well they work is debatable and is interesting to note that since the expo at Phillip Island the price has dropped from $750.00 to the current $550.00.Braided lines give more feel as you loose no feel due to the brake lines swelling under pressure as the brakes are applied. Many posters on the boards in the States swear by their Power Commander modules... I was going to ask about them, tomorrow.
