O.K. guys and girls not sure if you all know but the Golden Slipper is run tomorrow at Rosehill (Sydney). It's arguably the second biggest race in Australia behind the Melbourne Cup and pits the best 2 year old horses in the land against each other in a 1200m sprint. I'm not a betting man myself (unless it's one of our horses running) but for anyone who likes a punt and cares what I have to say lol here it is.
To Win: ZIZOU. Ran a big race in the Blue Diamond and has always been thereabouts at the finish. Has the advantage of a decent barrier draw.
However, if MIMI LEBROCK gets a run (I buggered if I know why it's not in the main field seeing as it won the Magic Millions
) then I'd back it.
Each way special: MURTAJIL. If this horse had a decent barrier draw it would win hands down, but it's got the outside barrier which has stuffed its chances I think. Might run a big race and place however.
The WFA (which always feature the absolute best horses in the land) BMW is also on tomorrow and I fancy DESERT WAR's chances.
