Shredder Wins Jam17 V2
#1
Congratulations to Shane for taking out Outlaw Sports Bike at Jamboree 17 V2!

Numbers were down from the original event with only two heavy hitters coming out to play. Compettion started off strong with Alex Borg running 7.7 pretty much straight away.

Shane made a cautious start on a newly rebuilt motor. It was realised early conditions were hampering ETs with only small improvements being made mainly with clutch settings on each pass.

By afternoon the conditions had changed favourably for Shane with the bike responding accordingly and the first 8 for the day

Alex Borg experienced Mechanical Gremlins putting him out early in the rounds. Alex Miller experienced some wild rides chasing his first 7 surviving to tell the storey.

The Final was down to Miller and Shredder, both leaving hard off the line chasing that PB, Miller got out in front with Shredder getting air born mid track, Miller blows a coolant line in the top end with Shane just crossing over in front with a new PB.

Was a great day racing with some entertainment along the way. Looking forward to the next Season and hopefully Shane runs his first 7!
