Seeing many members will be taking delivery of their 08's this week, there are some initial questions to ponder.
TRE: Is there any use for a TRE on an 08? I know there are 3 modes given to rider to choose from but are the given maps limited as previous models, is there any benefit to TRE and do the existing ones fit?
BTL: Would you weld up your Back Torque Limiter? as many have on older models. Perhaps these newer models are more 'tolerant' and less likely to stall on launch?
S/Stand: Many have found out at great cost to themselves the defficiancy of the side stand, ie not enough lean. So many have modified them to give extra lean. It appears Suzuki have not touched this issue even on the 08. So new owners beware of this issue!
After market mufflers are a question that can be dealt with in the exhaust section.
Are there any other issues that ought to be addressed/questioned upon delivery of these models?
