Frown took it back to the shop for the 1000km service i feel miserable,got a wimpy gs 500 loan bike in my garage

according to the owners manual;
800 km -below 5500 rpm
up to 1600 km -below 8000 rpm

but that is debatable as many people run their busas in harder and may actually gain a few extra hp by doing so..

5500 is about 170kph in top.
8000 is about 240. Nice running in speeds.

Why is it taking so long to do? I thought first service was a few hours. Booked my GSXR in for her first service on Friday and was told a few hours max.

BTW : Don't damage that GS500. I get her on Friday.

not taking that long but can pick her up only after work.

Will You think about Me??Got my K8 at 9.11.2007 and STILL it stands in garage...non drivin'....damn it.
Okay I must admit our weather (as you larra so well know) isn't now for hyper- or superbikes...
