Busa vs. GSXR1000
#16
You're right about that Aza, but the Busa has such a presence on the road, what with it's size and "unique" styling, that I don't think the gixxer will ever match. It's just this new engine set-up thing that's got me all excited. In a couple of years when the 2007 model has come down in price I may consider it as a good buy, but at the moment I'm more than happy with the bus.

torque to weight ratio will always determine what accelerates faster, assuming the same gearing. The stock gixxer has a slightly better peak torque to weight ratio.I,ve beaten my share with jockey riders at the drags and none have gone past at the creek whilst on the pipe.Once you hit 200+, torque is all that matters that why it so hard to sell the busa.I rode a 1050 sprint triumph for a bit.It sounded great, had good bottom end and mid and then........Nothing.if you sell your busa don,t ever do the jindy ride again, you,ll hate it.
