Hi gents, a question for those that have made the change. Does the double bubble screen have better deflection or is it just a bling thing?

One life, live it!

ive got a D B on mine and its tops best thing i ever did
Much better deflection at higher speeds. I use a double-bubble screen on my track-bike

...and if you're any taller than 5'10", better view of your gauges when sitting upright

+1 Pi_thumbsup

The last track day I did at P/Island I hit (an indicated) 290km/h down the main straight.....at 6'4", there is absolutely NO WAY I would have done the same speed with the original screen in place!!!

And like pan said.....being that tall, I was occassionally having probs seeing my indicator dash lights accidently left on and blinking away LONG after turning a corner (...juz downright dangerous leaving turn indicators on, esp. in heavy traffic)!

If you're on the taller side, and enjoy very high speed riding....it's one of the BEST mods you could do for your busa!!! Pi_thumbsup

i have a chineese one that i brought off bill from this forum and it works really well
I Bikerput one one my gen 1, and it was great.I`m 6.0 and at over 160 the wind just about took my head off.D/B screen problem solved.Same with my gen 2.Gen 1 was MCA screen, gen2 powerbronze.Don`t know the chinese ones , but they are cheap , so give it a try.Definitely not just bling!!!! If you are on the short side the standard screen is prolly ok.
Busa Rob you can always have a look at bike gear warehouse over east as they sell some screens and heaps of gear.

http://www.bikegearwarehouse.com.au/

and if you want original Suzuki Gear I can highly recommend these guys in the US as I have dealt with them and they were excellent.

I have an Original Suzuki Double Bubble on and it made all the difference and I'm only a short arse, the only thing I found was that because your better sheltered is that it's easier to speed.

Anyway Have fun looking for all this stuff.

Cheers Rev004
Hong Kong one is great!

Something nobody has mentioned .. My powerbonze DB also acts as a magnifying glass when the sun gets on it and tries to burn holes in my instrument cluster. I have heard of others having similar issues .. Dunno how common it is though.

I bought the MRA D/bubble screen, it is smoker and helps me. I wanted to buy the Suzuki D/Bubble. But no longer made.
I didn't go onto eBay I just rang the VIC motor cycle sales and ask for that one. I missed out on a saving hay.

With my problem I couldn't ride my busa with out the D/Bubble screen!!
Suzuki SVs were know for that problem.

I wouldn't have a faired Busa without one.

Im 6 foot and when I turn up the pace a little I pull myself up
closer to the tank and change my body position a little I cant
see half the clocks.

Nicest one I've had was on my 04. Came from Springwood Suzuki,
not sure of the brand but it was very dark, and thicker than most.
Always seemed a quality bit of kit compared to some others.

Yeah they really suck you upto the dash don't they? If I rest my arm on the tank doin 100 , if it's not right on the rear of the tank it just gets sucked up and off the tank! Lol
