well cheers for coming out last night. small group with just the four of us but had a little squirt afterwards. after you guys turned off i had to double back down gympie road. the roadworks were out of control, coppers everywhere etc.
anyway, i was lane splitting and i saw some police further up so i thought i'd just mingle with the traffic for a couple of hundred metres.
as i approached a cop car i could see they had some sweet looking naked euro bike pulled over.... mv augusta or something. it had personalised plates, I remember they were blue with maybe white characters. CRC-15.
they let him go just as i came up, and he jumped straight into the lane with me. we get a way up the road and are caught at a set of red-lights.... i pop my visor up and say, "what did those coppers sting you for?"
his reply, "i'm in the job myself mate. i'm chasing down that yellow lancer up ahead, they're in the piss"
sure enough i look down and although he had a nice sporty lid & leather jacket he also had those heavy blue pants you see the field coppers wearing, and the black boots.
i'm just glad i didn't say "pigs" or something equally as charming when i initiated the conversation.
