Buying a new Busa..... - creamy - 05-08-2011

Well I've looked, I've read and I've dicided that I want a new blue Busa. I have the day off work and am heading off to the dealers to see who will give me the best trade/deal. I have been told that the dealers have them in stock and could deliver one today if I get an early start. As big Kev used to say "I'm excited". Biker

Yeah, you shoulsd get a good deal specially on the blue one, because they are a bit slower than the black ones. Lol3

Good luck Pi_thumbsup

G'day & welcome to the AHC, creamy! Very Happy

Good luck with ur purchase....don't rush in...and make sure ya drive a hard bargain...and don't let the buggers try to scam you into believing that the rear seat cowl, aka the "hump", is an "optional extra" >>> coz it's NOT, and should be included in the standard price!!! (....a few that have bought new recently have been duped like that)
Post up some pics when ya get it home!!! Pi_thumbsup

keep it fun,
bazman
Coolsmiley

ps: would love to know the story behind ur screen-name - but ONLY if ur female, ok?!? Lol3 Pi_tongue Lol3

Hi,

You should be out now checking and we all hope you can get the Busa at a great price.

If you cannot or don't think you are getting a good deal, you can try bikesales.com.au and do some checking there and give the dealers a phone call and see if the price is better. If you go inter state it will cost you about $300.00 to get it shipped to your home. You can see a big difference in price now from the 1st of July.
Good luck and hope you do well and don't forget a picture or two.

RE: Buying a new Busa..... - creamy - 05-08-2011

Well it's being rego'd and pre delivered. I'm happy with the deal and am getting bar risers (helli something or rather) fitted. And if blue ones aren't as fast a red one would be too much for this old fart.Very Happy

RE: Buying a new Busa..... - Tony Nitrous - 05-08-2011

Im not sure what the going rate is for a new Busa ?

I told a dealer in Brissy last week that i'd seen them
at $16,490 (Blue 2010?) and he said he'd match that.

RE: Buying a new Busa..... - piperjon - 05-08-2011

Well that is great news!! If your happy that's the way it should be. Heli bars that's what I have. You will have to get a D/Bubble screen now hay as the gem one will blow your head off, with the D/Bubble your head stays on ha.
Great News I say.

Welcome to Busa ownership my friend. True it will be a few k slower with the heavier blue paint, but hope you got a good deal.
I got mine for 16 flat last year. Enjoy the bike.

Creamy I would hold off on that idea for now as in the next month or two the new models will be out and 2011 will be a run out model. Here in Squeezeland you can pick one up for around $16,800 ride away no more to pay and if you are a persistent buyer(aka ballbreaker) a better price can be obtained.Second hand ones are also on the fall as new sales are down the toilet at the moment and as an example a 2009 with 12,000km,full Yoshi system, driven rear sets, iridium screen, pazzo levers, flashed and tuned was sold for $11,000 on Thursday.....and b4 I get a prostate examination with questions NO it was never damaged or written off so deal hard and walk away instantly if your not going to get what YOU want out of it!!!IMO
