From what I've read,using a gen 2 shock on a gen 1 seems to be a pretty good bang for your buck mod.
Do you use the linkages from the gen 2 as well or retain the gen 1 links? |

Damaged is ok,in fact preferable if it's cheap.
I want to experiment with new projectors and LED's and don't want mess up the mint one on the bike

Yeah,the Buelll pegs were an absolute must for me,6'3" and all leg !
The R has them too as well as a raised subframe
