You are most welcome. As you get nearer to going keep in touch. There is plenty of other stuff well worth looking at and plenty of touristy stuff that is imo a waste of time and money. Paul.

Ok, perhaps I need to start my own thread on road racing, but I'm hoping if you're reading about Isle of Man then you have an interest too.
Just found another race over there in Northern Ireland called Cookstown 100,

Looks like a lot of the same riders as IOM in 2011, eg Dunlop brothers, Guy Martin, Cameron Donald etc.
Beginning to wonder if Aus is the only place that cant organise/have a profitable race...

On my bucket list too,but, and it might be just a little off topic, just found out about some New Zealand street races in latest AMCN vol 61 issue 14; 18-31 jan 2012.

First I've heard of them, apparently its been going for nearly sixty years.

So, air fares are what, a quarter of UK, 3 hours (ok so that was when they did direct from adelaide, looks like they dont now) in air instead of 30..
Must be a down side here somewhere...

If you want to know about sending your bike over for the IOM contact: Get Routed on 03 9351 0612, You pick up your bike and drop off again just a short taxi ride from Heathrow airport (they ship bikes from all over Oz for the iom TT. There is an article regarding the package in "2 wheels" magazine. 10/10 edition.
I can scan the pages and email (later this week if your serious about it) its about $5,500 and includes 14 nights stay and ferry costs.
Note: This does not include you air fare.
