As you get nearer to going keep in touch. There is plenty of other stuff well worth looking at and plenty of touristy stuff that is imo a waste of time and money. Paul.

Ok, perhaps I need to start my own thread on road racing, but I'm hoping if you're reading about Isle of Man then you have an interest too.
Just found another race over there in Northern Ireland called Cookstown 100, "The ever popular Northern Ireland Cookstown 100 Motorcycle Road Races will take place 27th & 28th April 2012. We look forward to Seeing you all there!" http://www.cookstown100.com/ Looks like a lot of the same riders as IOM in 2011, eg Dunlop brothers, Guy Martin, Cameron Donald etc. Beginning to wonder if Aus is the only place that cant organise/have a profitable race... Hmmm, and there's only a bit over a month between them...
Midlife Crisis? What Midlife Crisis!
I've always had these needs and desires!

If you want to know about sending your bike over for the IOM contact: Get Routed on 03 9351 0612, You pick up your bike and drop off again just a short taxi ride from Heathrow airport (they ship bikes from all over Oz for the iom TT. There is an article regarding the package in "2 wheels" magazine. 10/10 edition. I can scan the pages and email (later this week if your serious about it) its about $5,500 and includes 14 nights stay and ferry costs. Note: This does not include you air fare. Hope it helps! |
