Fair point leonard.I reserve judgement for my gearing until i can acheive a decent 60ft,being of similar weight to yourself.It is a shame about the competition thing because i would and may go for a built motor down the track,but wsid doesn,t provide much incentive to progress in the sport.Across the road should re-open and give them some competition,then we might get a better track.I,m a little lost on the goals other than to keep resetting the goal posts.My big goal was a 9.6.I guess thats 9.5 now.I do want to do a 1.5 60ft though so maybe the two will come together.Getting the most from the setup is really the long term aim,when you have a spin i might get some ideas.

Keep a little money in the bank Glenn, I read somewhere that once you crack an 8 (don't laugh it may happen) you need to put a nappy on your sump, I'm fair dinkum!
