Ha! Thanks guys; while I am here, I will be leaving Gerringong on the morning of 29 January and making a leisurely (say 500km per day) trip via maybe Nowra-Braidwood-Batemans Bay- Jindabyne-maybe Mt Hotham-maybe Bruthen-you get the picture...and that's depending on the Spirit sailing schedule not varying etc etc
If that suits anyone else who would like company for the ride let me know...

And I gather Tassie is in the grip of bushfires and drought - what odds we arrive just as the drought is broken by inches of rain over several days?

Keep in mind that this forecast is still 2+ weeks out so no guarentees this will happen. For better weather updates, up to a week ahead, use www.bom.gov.au

At both lunch and end of day stops the vehicle will be there with all your stuff incase we get dumped on or the sun tries to microwave us 1/2 way through a day. There will also be a supply of cool bottled water as local water in some places is not drinkable.

Now for more official/serious shit.......
Can everyone txt me their bike and rego plus emergency contact?
No info will be passed on without consent but I would like to know that everyone makes it to each stop point and I will be getting the vehicle driver (my wife Sandy or son Jazz) to do the checking. Also some of the roads are know to test riders skills as FUBAR them so the emergency contact would e good.
If you have issues with this please call me.
Cheers
