Bravo........strangely enough I was just thinking about this when logging on today and was going to ask you the question.
I want to be the first to put my hand up for the trip Tony, and will happily pay a deposit in advance.
Jump on board folks...................life's too short.
Count me in Batty .i know that you would have been p&&$d off this year.So people lets get our fingers out and get on board.
Thanks Paul and Scott

I have been pissed off on many levels due to what happened with cancelling this years tour, even cancelled my week off work which was probably a bad move looking back lol

I made the mistake of trusting someone I don't know to organise something I love, never again people.... Stuff the headaches and crap from organising everything myself, at least i (and everyone else) will know what's happening and when!

I am expecting (fingers crossed hoping) to have you mainlanders enjoy the tour for under $500 and any local that doesn't want to book their own bed under $200. Updates will be both posted and PM'ed
Batfink, I would like to put my hand up but being a shiftworker and with only a small number in our roster and some very selfish individuals, have you considered a cut off point for a booking??
Yes mate, there will be very defined booking dates and numbers for this to go ahead. Last year I tried to make it as flexible as possible and it all fell apart at the end so this year it's more a " my way or the highway" thing lol

The bookings will start when I can get the Spirit of Tas or accept group bookings. Then it will be confirmed as soon as 15 riders say yes. There will also be a max number of riders too. Once bookings start there will be a set time to pay deposit to lock things in. I don't mind using my cr card to secure things but my Minister of Finance won't take a friendly view if we loose deposits out of our own funds.

So basically as soon as 15 people show they are truely keen I will pressure TT Libe for tickets and then put up the final price. Everyone will then have a set time to pay a deposit and numbers will be set. Others can always join in but not on this booking.
No worries, thanks for reply.
Hey Stu, if you give me a few weeks I will post up some highlights of each day.... Lol gives me a great excuse to get out on the bike to make new vids

Is there anything specific you/she needs to see to be convinced?
The roads aren't as bad as they seem in the last 2 vids. That was done with my old camera on vid mod attached to a home made bracket at mirror connection lol the mount was slowly getting more and more slack which made the camera jump more.
The 1st vid was with a Contour action cam attached to helmet. One day I might invest in a GoPro lol
Days 4-6 on expected itinerary haven't been done by me for 20+ years and I am hoping GOOFTROOP will still be available for route ideas. At 6 ride ends back at the boat so you northern islanders can get home lol
Thanks for the videos but it raises 2 questions for me.
1) Do I still need to come as I've seen most of it now......
2) Why a Hayabusa, not a straight in sight.

L.O.L.
Looking forward to it more than ever.
Hey Tony, out of interest, if it had of gone ahead this year, how would the weather have been. I'm sure you would of thought of this.
I looked at the forecasts but so hard to tell from that.
