Don't think I would but if your willing lets us know always open to new ideas.

As for the chain just use kero and a nail brush dry it off then use engine oil that chain lube is a waste of money been using this method for 36 years road and race never had a problem, if you put too much oil on and it flings off on your wheel just clean it off with eucalyptus oil also good for tar insects etc removal.
