8sec on motor?

I think after a while and data logging you discover that whatever gearing and bike weight that allows you to pin 1st gear early on without wheelies until shiftpoint, that also allows you to reach peak rpm or a little beyond over the line in fourth gear is th best set up for your bike and bodyweight.I,m trialing a brock brick with correspondingly less fuel in the tank to put more weight on the front wheel with the same overall bike weight.Does it work?Best et and 60ft first night out after riding a stock height bike the week before.Even with stock gearing and quite low she still lifts at the top of first gear. Now the fine tuning starts.Seriously i would love to see all busa drag racers doing good numbers. If you set the bike up early on correctly and then just fine tune and practice, your learning curve can be alot shorter then the longer road i took. The practice part is the main ingredient though, without it, your benchracing.

You are spot on Bill, its hard to believe having to short shift when it feels like it still has heaps to go, I also took the long road, when you find out where the peak power is the times will drop.

Times also drop when lining up a copper bike, has something to do with fear of suffering the embarresment of being ass raped!

...so the question then is, why are you not in "street bike class A"? Confused

His swingarm, brakes, shockies, to name a few are not OEM, so bike cannot be in streetbike class, thems the rules. Simmo is and I will also be in streetbike, no bragging rights for an MB to beat an SB.

Thats for Comp gr2 A/sb has an index of about 8.9 something I think
Confused

So when you line up to the guy next to you that is what you have to run or as near as you can. it is based around the Australian record for the class.

There are no dial in's and there has to be a Comp bracket on offer for

you to compete in like the Winter Nat's, Sun State Nat's...

have a good read of the rule book a few times see if you get it
Wtf
Regards Richard.....

Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.
