Rear pick-up spools
#1
Can anyone advise me please? I am getting a rear stand and pick-up spools. These spools come in 6, 8, 10mm sizes.
Which size spool is best?
Ordering the stand today and coming with the spools.
thanks,
FalcoP

8mm is the size of the threads on the swing arm. You don't have a choice.

I bought the Pro-Bolt spools but after only two days they had worked themselves loose and now live on the side of a road somewhere in Vic. The design of them is not the best.
The free ones I got from Peter at Kaneg are cheap by comparison but they are still on the bike and aren't going anywhere. I guess sometimes the higher priced item can also be the worst.

Hmmm....coincidentally, I am in desperate need of an AHC patch for my jacket. Perhaps we can work something out? PM me, woman!

I was thinking of getting these, are you happy with them and do they stay tight on the bike, ie not vibrate loose, Steve.

Yes, they fit nice and tight. If you're worried about them coming loose you can just paint the bolts with a bit of nail polish before you screw them up.
