In relation to this topic, I would like to know how many of you in Busa world have managed to impale yourself with a workshop tool.
For me, it was a 4mm drill bit right through my thumb last Sunday. Snapped off and had to 'twist' it to get it out again.
Oh, and whilst an apprentice had a (losing) fight with a 4" grinder that tried to lop off my trigger finger.
Let us know, could be worth a larf.

My latest effort although this time I managed not to inflict harm on me or those within earshot of my potty mouth, is still an indication of my lack of mechanical aptitude and how a pop rivot can cost over $500.
Picked up said pop rivot in my rear tyre. Big F***en Deal you say....
Did the usual shop around (finger) for best price and decided that for the loss of $45 ( $100 worth of tread left V $55 for repair ) would put a new tyre on.
Although I hadnt realised that the thread on the axle was F***** (same thing happened with my 14 )( have only had to adjust the chain twice in 19,000k`s) I still did the wrong thing and backed the adjusters off which allowed the axle to rotate. thread was that RS that even vice grips did not help.
After about one hour of hack sawing and loosing it until the next day and angle grinding the nut off, I finally got the back wheel off.
So $160 less %10 for axle and nut, $35 for the spacer that I ordered on the 7th and am told wont be in until the 21st. $340 for pilot road 2. Thats how a pop rivot can cost over $500
PS: The parts catalogue that is downloadable from this web site is not Australian. When I tried to order the spacer, my local Suzuki shop did not have a K8 Hayabusa parts catalogue ( I couldn`t believe it myself. Had to wait from the 3rd to the 7th for them to get it delivered ) so I accessed the one from this site and the part number is different. axle and nut the same. Not sure what other part numbers are different.
Cheers Mick
