The right hand fork seal is weeping on my K9. I'm fairly competent with a spanner and I'm tempted to give it a go.
So any tips or things to watch for/avoid??
i did my seals (thanks to lenaord talking me through it ) , as long as you have the right tools , i have a fork seal tool here i used to put the new seals in its not a big job ,
if you need my fork seal tool let me know i will post it over to you
cheers

Cheers Kev, I may take you up on that. Looking at the service manual it refers to special tools, how did you get round this, or is that the fork seal tool?
once you get your forks out there is a large hex bolt inside the axle area that holds the bottom to the top undo that i used a rattle gun , slide the bottom leg off and and put aside on the fork tube there us a dust seal pop that off and you have the seal in front of you pull it out , thats what i did and its the reverse to putting it all back together ,
if your not sure pm me and i can walk you through it on the fone
