Lasted 4 or 5 months, then worked another 8yrs - redundancy #1, 2months off, and this last stint was 5yrs for redundancy #2. I think I will do casual work till I'm 60 but just to fill in time between rides. lol.
I hope to improve on the customer service levels at the store guys, if I can't raise the bar, I'll leave.

Well done Ray, you've gone about it the right way. I started off in the bike trade before getting a real job. If I'd gotten a real job first I wouldn't need to be in this position where I'll be working until I'm 75.

Thanks Loafie, Camel and others. The first day was a real breeze and went fast. Never a dull moment on a Saturday morning that's for sure.
We have our first 2012 busa going out the door on Wednesday this week. A black one.
(I don't sell the bikes, just accessories)

Street Triple R is awesome town bike DAD. I could easily sit on it 8 hrs a day.
Haven't tried any intercity stuff yet.
It gives nothing away up to 200kph and after that, I don't care!

Are you still riding a Hayabusa Gruntmax? Retirement is one thing, staying the course on your Busa is fantastic.

Are you still riding a Hayabusa Gruntmax? Retirement is one thing, staying the course on your Busa is fantastic. Yes. Had to have a Pingel Easy Shifter fitted due to the 2 x DWD inflicted fractured upper vertabrae. I'm on my 2nd one now as they seem to blow up @ 50,000 klms. It is actually less painful to ride my Busa than to drive the uterous.
This year, I did not renew my CTP Green Slip Award Defaulting QBE Insurance Ltd CTP Policy on my Uterous as CTP Green Slip Award Defaulting QBE Insurance Ltd wanted an extra $300 more than GIO.
I've been living on a real tight budget for the past 5 years now, never been on Centrelink, although I'm eligable, although, If I was, it would've given CTP Green Slip Award Defaulting QBE Insurance Ltd an extra 6 weeks to default, which they did anyway.
Always ride with a full set of race leathers & a Shoei full face
