Sold my Busa...... Now what to get??
#1
Well, sold the busa on Friday to guy up at Coolum and I have been wondering all weekend, what to get now. Thinking about perhaps getting a real cheap project or write off so I can still have something in the garage to go for a spin on if the weathers good.

Ideas??

If you've got the money you could all ways try the classic bike route.

I just brought a dual sport , reducing the temptation to go as fast and see a bit more of the country we usually fly passed
had a pisser of a shakedown weekend ending up at Mc Killops bridge on the Snowy river 1100kms with about 1/3 dirt

I've been toying with the idea of buying a waterbottle as a vintage ride. I bought a 73 K model and loved it. Am I right in noticing the pipes on that later model (L, A or B) are from a J or K? Like the Busa it was an icon for its time; watercooled 2 stroke triple. Still see them around and parts are readily available I hear. Yeah buy one of them.

I just went conservative (cheap) and picked up a 07 v strom 650 for $5500, wanted it more than the 1000 as there 50kg lighter and i thought that would be more usefull than the 1000cc in the dirt , this is a 6th bike after all , if i want hp i still have better options ;)
