B'day
Well, I was escorted (thanks BMW Dave) to Yea through some lovely corners, proceeded via Mansfield Whitfield Beechworth Tallangatta Granya (fantastic corners) Jingellic Tumbarumba Tumut and now am at Gundagai since about 5pm. Couple of beers and some tucker and early to bed I would think :)
Dunno which way I'll go in the morning yet...
I'll have to clean the bus next weekend I'd reckon...

That was just nuts!
8 days of riding. A few hours of drizzle one morning, but otherwise perfect sunny days, lovely roads, and zero police!
The two involved in the low speed bingle are both out of hospital and doing better. Many of us are home, but some are extending their trip.

I've posted up a bunch of photos in another thread. Feel free to add and to tell stories. No, they don't have to be true...

Memories,
This time a month ago, 32 of us were headed to Queenstown from Hobart.
About this time there was a helicopter taking off from Hobart on route to Derwent Bridge.
A little after this there was a VFR trying to convince it's rider that it didn't want to go any further.
I had waited over a year for this trip, loved every minute, met some outstanding people, I just can't believe it's come and gone in a blink.
Thanks again to Tony , and a special mention to Jazz......................Cheers guys.

I would say that the last was so successful he'll probably need to field 3 groups of 15 :-)
Provided he is willing - but I think Batty enjoyed the experience!

You're probably gunna be right on both Kev LOL

I will be posting up the 2017 Batty Tassie Tour (BTT) in June(ish).......

Different routes and removing some ideas in favour of others (lay/play day to be in different part of State)

2 x groups, a singles/discount group that uses pub/backpacker style shared rooms and a couples/executive group that uses hotel/motel style rooms....

Still think the 6 days is sufficient to see the State (I think it's laughable that people try to do it in 3 LOL)

More emphasis on self discovery of the State with meet up points and suggested roads.

Support vehicle is a must and will be available for gear transport and sorting out bike issues (might be something different than my 4x4 and trailer next year)

I echo Dave & Megs sentiments....
I will be talking about the ride until I'm in a box.
You more than deserve it, and it looks great.
