Here is the photo of the subframe brace that I said that I would load.

It is simply a piece of deformed bar, bent to wrap around the two sides of the frame where it bolts to the rear of the main frame.
This bracing apparantly prevents the subframe from spreading and cracking.
I can't guarantee that it works but it has worked on my bike.
I never overload the bike though and stick to the 195kg all up weight limit that is recommended in the handbook.
