1-3 rwhp
Really? Well I feel a lot better then - I was sure someone was going to say something more like 10hp.

Hey guys, I've got a K8 with a yoshi R55 full system, PCIII with Rilusi custom tune and K&N, and on their dyno I got 171.4HP and 99.71. Reckon I might have to put it on a different dyno just so i feel better about those figures...haha. Still goes like the clappers so that's all that counts....

Gravy,
Your figures are spot on I reckon, mine was around 171 with map supplied by Brock, after another run and custom map installed was making around 174 +-, so to those who are saying they are getting around 200HP with out working the motor are full of you know what.
For the record my 08 bike has Brock 4-1 titanium system, PC111, K&N, velocity stacks, BP ultimate fuel used.
To put this issues to rest once and for all and prove that 200 rear wheel HP on essentially a standard bike is not possible I would be interested in arranging a dyno day in Perth.
who is up for it?
Dave

You won't get 200 out of a Gen II with only external mods (Have spent quite a few lazy Sundays trying)....................... but you can get 170 out of a Gen I and probably 20 more than that out of a Gen II done right.
Will add here .................... it's not about the figure at the end ...................... it's about the difference between the figure at the start and then the figure at the end that counts

OK here's a flyby the hornets' nest.
WHY are there seemingly NO Australian exhaust makers who could do better than the Yoshie's and Akra's of this world and do it at HALF the price? Are we not known for being innovative and great at beating the rest of the WORLD?
Even at 85-90% of the price of imported Y's and A's, I would buy locally.
Wouldn't you agree?
I just want a 4-1 that is very light with some 10hp and equivalent torque extra.
Is that so difficult?
After all, the 4 cylinder UJM has been around for decades. Why must one pay $2000+ to buy here or over $1000-1500 to privately import from the USA?

OK the results. k8 jaffa dynoed 17.2.09 pre map 182.23hp.with Hindle 421,DNA filter, PC3. After custom map at Sportcycles Newcastle by Jamie 191.58hp. 110ft/lb
Fitted Factory Pro velocity stacks myself the other week.
Went back to same shop for major service this week. Dynoed again on 21.10.10 with new map 200.4hp 116ft/lb.
Will try to find somebody intelligent to upload the graph.
Conditions at time of run were good but the numbers are there hey.
So it is possible. Garbo

Wow 9 hp & 6 ft/ibs from a set of velocity stacks, if only the FACTORY had thought of designing/testing something like that ?
For the record I have only seen small gains in torque and not much of a HP increase on a unmodified engines. In my most humble opinon once you hotrod the mtr the std stacks are the go. Jim
