Piss takes aside I like the Pirellis...this has zero to do with posing...if I wanted to do that I would've bought a Harley and fitted some whitewalls.

I also like Avon Tyres they used to be the best rubber you could get in the UK ditto Pirellis....my choice is based on reputation....of course I do like walking around Northbridge with my Loui Vuitton bag when I'm not out riding.....LOL!

My Gen1 that I got from the auctions had a seven year old Avon 200/50. It was down right dangerous, the bike did not like going around corners and when nailed in first gear it would just start spinning. Good fun if you like riding crossed up like a dirt bike!

Revhead, just done my 80k circuit up my way, left at 36PSI, got home at 40.5PSI on the rear, so I'm somewhere in the paddock.
36PSI was better, I'll take the rear upto 37-38 and see what goes on.

Well the Pirellis and Avons of yesteryear were the best you could get....bear in mind 750 Honda fours were only producing 63 or so horses back then.

when I bought my bus ,she had some horrible bridgestone touring tyre ,it would take 500ks to warm up and it was still shite,best thing is stop worrying and ride if the tyres haven't let go yet id say youl be fine ,
