I was always thinking that with a lot of bikes a backup vehicle with trailer would be needed... Just gotta convince my boy he CAN tow a trailer lol

UPDATE....
looks like costs are as follows:
>shared accommodation will be about $40/night,
>fuel about $35/day and
>$5/day for backup vehicle.
This is all based on a per bike rate and excludes meals.

Okay peoples I am about to get serious with countdown organising this!!!!

Found an events organiser that is putting together prices for group bookings for
>Spirit of Tas fares (shared berth & bike return)
>all accommodation around Tas (shared cabin/bunk style)
>PI entry/acc/pit passes

The only thing you need on top will be fuel, food and booze

Also organising a breakdown vehicle and trailer to follow.

No offence but when we did it we stayed at Pubs and it was cheap and counter meals,i think it would be better than the trailer park.

I got a company to put together a package deal that covers everything... including boat tickets, PI entry and some other things...
I asked for a big focus on budget as we are not Executives types that have $$$ to burn (cept for Pan LOL) and I am organising a back-up vehicle with trailer for 2 bikes that can bring bbq style food on the journey too

Just be careful, It's all starting to sound like the types of tours I organise and do for a living. All meals, all accommodation, all entries and activities looked after. BUT my tours are targeting senior citizens. When I travel I like to be able to explore, change plans at a moments notice, and not pay some company to book something I can do in 5 minutes on the net. Even if they give you a good price they're aren't a charity and you will pay extra. Just my 2bobs worth.

Other than accommodation and boat for Tassie they are doing nothing else. All a Batty deal lol
For P.I. It's accommodation plus 1 function and track entry
