MJ has 13 songs at the moment in the ARIA top 40.

I think that is a record of some sort...
http://www.ariacharts.com.au/pages/chart...chart=1U50
and this from Alan Jones Show...

Those figures in relation to Michael Jackson are beyond unbelievable.

On the national Aria charts, Michael Jackson's albums occupy the top three spots.

14 of his singles are in the top 40.

Data released by the Australian record industry association.

In other words, his music is more popular now than when he was alive.

He's got 35 singles in the top 100, which no artist has ever achieved.

And never has an artist held the top 3 album chart positions.

The Aria boss, Stephen Peach said "We've never seen a sales impact such as this. It tops the Beatles at the height of their fame in 1964 when they had around 13 singles in the top 100".

Michael Jackson's got 35.

Apparently only seven Elvis albums re-entered the top 100 in the three weeks following his death in 1977.

And John Lennon and Yoko Ono only had one album jump to number one following Lennon's death in 1980.

But Jackson's got 35 singles in the Aria top 100 and 15 albums in the Aria top 100.

And he's got seven albums in the top 40.

Elvis had seven in the top 100 in the three weeks following his death.

This bloke's got 7 in the top 40.

It's unbelievable.

There is talk that he was working on two albums at the time of his death.

Michael Jackson.

A phenomenon by any reckoning.

Jacko's dream of keeping his kids off the stage and out of the limelight may be over I'm afraid.
So sad for them.
